I just posted an article that might help you to maintain your perspective. Here’s a link: http://justgotdiagnosed.com/resources/twenty-years-from-now-whats-most-important/
I think that my past has taught me what’s really important in my life. And being aware of what’s important has made it a whole lot easier to stay focused on the big picture, and to not let my emotions get the best of me, when one of my buttons is pushed. And as a result, to be able to act as my best self and to make better decisions. To keep that focus, I’ve learned to ask myself the question that I asked my client. And now I’m going to ask you that same question: In 20 years, is this really going to be important?
